SALE HORSES
All horses are sold on a fist come, first served policy. Horses will only be held once a vetting is set, although it will still be shown until the vetting is accepted and payment is made in full. Horses must be shipped with in one week of purchase. Board during this time will be provided free of charge. Consignment sale horses will only be taken if they are in a training program with Virginia Creek Farm.
Broken Cross
SOLD
"Cross" is a 2008 Thoroughbred gelding that has been in the VCF family for over two years. He has done numerous schooling H/J, dressage and eventing shows with an amateur college student during that time. He is currently in training to solidify his first level dressage work and step to 3' fences. Cross will be available for purchase mid July after HiPICO Santa Fe's Opening Week.
Due to his large step and cracking bascule over fences, a rider confident over 2'6 fences is needed. Xrays available and PPE is welcome at buyers expense. Minimal maintence will be required to a jumping home. Half lease available till sold. Priced in the low 5 figures.
LEASE HORSES
All leased horses are kept with their current owners and lessors must be enrolled in weekly lessons. A month by month contract is to be signed by the owner and the lessor that specifies each horse's individual lease agreement.
FLETCHER
Fletcher is the perfect horse for someone wanting to learn dressage. His competition career spans from USEA Traing level to USDF 4th level. A solid citizen at home and at the show grounds, Fletcher is available for a half lease.
SCARLETT-Leased
Scarlett is the perfect lease for a rider who wants a horse with some get up and go! Solid 1st level dressage, 3' courses and Novice eventing. Light on her feet, she goes in a rubber D for all three phases of eventing and in a hackmore while out on trails. Full and half lease available.
